Welcome to Bad as a Mother
Being a mother is at the center of my universe. As a mom to an only child, I make all of my decisions with my daughter in mind. Motherhood was nothing like what I had expected, but so much more wonderful than I had imagined. Bad as a Mother is a place for me to share my experiences with parenting and motherhood through the lens of an educator. As a Type-A mama, I can empathize with those of you who struggle with the worry, stress, and lack of control that comes along with the job. I am naturally drawn to creating and sharing strategies to enhance learning through fun and engaging activities. My goal is to encourage parents to take a more active role in becoming their child’s best teacher. I love being a teacher and a mom and I hope my enthusiasm for reading and writing is contagious!
Born and raised in NY, I’m a certified Queens girl still trying to find my way around suburbia. Hey, it’s only been eight years! At any given moment, you can find me working two or three part-time gigs in education, attempting organizational projects, baking from scratch, packing organic lunches, trying to follow a skincare routine, washing loads and loads of laundry, maintaining friendships across state lines and teaching my daughter how to write properly.
